The mission of AboutWisdom.com is to "Bring Wisdom Into the World through the Hearts of Women and Girls." In a high technology, linear world, the need of true fulfillment from within has been too often forgotten. The importance of wisdom has been played down for centuries and replaced with external stimulants such as money, power, and ego.
AboutWisdom.com has but one intention and this is to help develop new abilities in women and girls that support them to discover their wisdom. In completing this mission, we have set the basis for improving our future. We strive to see a planet of children, raised by wisdom-centered parents and well-prepared to support a good world. We are encouraged and inspired by the potential positive changes a world that is "AboutWisdom" could have on the future.
Chief Creative Officer, and Founder of AboutWisdom.com, Beverley Danusis, has spent her entire life mentoring and empowering women. An abused child and woman, she listened to her personal wisdom and created a fresh and successful life at age 23. Broke and a single mother with two children to feed, she learned to listen to her innate wisdom and took that into the world.
Within a few years, she was one of the leading sales people in the cosmetic-fashion world. Her next step was to become an executive officer and eventually business woman of the year in Los Angeles.
Sensing there was more to life than power and money, she left the industry at her peak and gave herself two years to find answers to deeper questions.
Soon Beverley was conducting personal development workshops from coast-to-coast on women's empowerment.
She is an author and co-author of two books. She has appeared on local and national radio shows. She has spoken in 15 countries.
She is a constant student of wisdom, an independent scholar, ordained minister, and wise business woman.
All who know her call her the "WisdomGoddess." She truly is "ABOUTWISDOM!"

ABOUT WISDOM has published a wisdom book entitled, "Sophia and the Seven Goddesses - A Journey of Self-Acceptance." The book was created as a tool to be used by mothers and pre-teens, to teach self-esteem and empowerment. The book comes with a parent guide.
The main characters in "Sophia and the Seven Goddesses: A Journey of Self-Acceptance" come from Greek mythology and teach innate wisdom to the main character. ABOUT WISDOM offers these characters in the form of realistically proportioned dolls. All hand-painted and exquisitely dressed in ancient costumes, these limited edition (numbered) statuettes are a collector's dream. They also act as visual reminders of the wisdom found within each woman and girl.
As periodic reminders ABOUT WISDOM offers "Webinars" and conference call workshops to reinforce the empowerment of women through wisdom. Beverley produces and offers a weekly inspirational article, "Ponder This."
